Engineers from Northern Gas Networks will be carrying out essential repair work on a gas main in York.
Work is due to start on Monday 28 April and is expected to take five days to complete.
In order to carry out this work safely and efficiently, it will be necessary to close Green Dyke Lane and Melrose Gate at their junctions with Hull Road. Signed diversions will be in place.
Josh Hampshire, Network Officer, Northern Gas Networks, said: “We have planned this essential work closely with York City Council to minimise disruption to motorists.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and reassure members of the public that we will do all we can to complete the work as quickly as possible.”
