Supplies have now been restored to 300 customers in Sowerby Bridge who were affected by a pressure related incident which occurred on Wednesday 6 August.
Engineers from Northern Gas Networks now require access to the five remaining properties to safely reconnect the gas supply and are urging residents to call the Customer Care team on 0845 634 0508, option 7 so that a qualified engineer can be sent to restore the supply.

Anyone who smells gas should call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately, calls are answered at any time of day or night and an engineer will be sent out to assess the situation promptly.
