NGN’s team of Customer Care Officers will be at Kingsgate Shopping Centre on Wednesday 15 July. Members of the public are being invited to drop in between 9am – 5pm to find out more information about the essential work on Kingsbridge Road and ask any questions they may have.

NGN will host a second information stand at Kingsgate Shopping Centre on Wednesday 22 July to give out information about the remaining projects which include; King Street, Westgate, Half Moon Street and New Street, which are due to commence in the coming months.

Paul Jagger, Construction Services Area Manager at Northern Gas Networks said; “Some of the pipes in Huddersfield urgently need replacing so that we can ensure the continued safe and reliable supply of gas to customers in the area for years to come.

“Our Customer Care Officers will be at Kingsgate Shopping Centre over the two days to ensure any questions regarding the upcoming projects can be answered and to give the public an opportunity to voice their opinions.  We’ve planned these projects carefully in consultation with Kirklees Highway Authority to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum and we aim to complete the work as quickly as possible.”
