Response

The Depot Days have led to stronger local relationships in Tyne and Wear. As a result, we opened our doors again a few months later to welcome a party of school children to learn more about what we do and to encourage them to consider a career in engineering. We will be opening our doors again in 2017 so if you’re interested get in touch at stakeholder@northerngas.co.uk

Summary

In 2016 we opened the doors of our depots to stakeholders and local communities for the first time. This was an opportunity to find out more about what we do how we do it and future plans for the area. We heard directly about how we could work more with our local communities and were amazed by the level of interest from people seeing some of the innovative technology we use.
