In 2016 the panel focussed on our short to medium plans and how we’re performing on key areas like safety, reliability, customer experience, consumer vulnerability and much more.

Here are just some of the things we have done as a result of discussions at the panel in 2016:

  • Strengthened our plans to help enable the industry in the smart meter roll-out whilst mitigating the impact on our own customers
  • Worked with other networks to look at and agree models for clearer reporting
  • Began innovation projects to look at links between fuel poverty and health

As we move into our planning for RIIO GD2 (our business plan for 2021 to 2029) the focus for the next few years will be around our future direction and longer term plans.

Summary

Our stakeholder panel is made up of key stakeholders with an interest in what we do representing customers of all sizes, third sector, energy industry and many more key stakeholders the panel meets three times a year to influence and inform our future plans and help to keep us on track with changing priorities.
